Summer Reading

As your 116^th district State Representative, I invite students entering 1st through 4th grades in the fall to participate in my 2024 “Oceans of Possibilities” Summer Reading Club. Students who read EIGHT books this summer and submit the completed form below by June 28 will receive an official Illinois House of Representatives Certificate of Recognition and an invitation to a pool party at the Mt. Vernon Aquatic Zoo. Details will follow!

Rep. Severin’s “Oceans of Possibilities” Summer Reading Club Rules!

Representative Dave Severin’s Oceans of Possibilities Magic summer reading club challenges 1^st through 4^th graders to read 8 books during their summer break. Books for local library programs are also acceptable and books over 150 pages may count for 2 books.
Once a student completes the book reading, please fill out the form below and have a parent or guardian verify that the books were read.
