SOUTHERN ILLINOIS – State Rep. Dave Severin (R-Benton) and State Rep. Patrick Windhorst (R-Metropolis) are teaming up to provide district residents with a free service to collect unused prescription drugs.
On Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Rep. Windhorst and Rep. Severin will will join with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department and McLeansboro city police department to collect expired or unneeded medications to be properly disposed of. Residents may drop off unused, expired, or unneeded medications, patches, vitamins and pet medicines. Restricted items include hypodermic needles and illegal drugs. The service is free of charge.
