MARION – State Rep. Dave Severin currently serves as the House Republican ranking member on the House’s Judiciary Criminal Law Committee. In that capacity, Rep. Severin has worked hard to keep his constituents up to date on items like the SAFE-T Act and other criminal justice related matters.
Today, the Committee will be meeting for a subject matter hearing on HB 5855. This is legislation that will severely restrict the rights of law-abiding gun owners in Illinois. Rep. Severin is encouraging his constituents to watch today’s hearing at 11:00 AM if possible.
