BENTON – 116th district State Representative Dave Severin (R-Benton) issued a statement following the indictment and arraignment of President Donald Trump in New York’s Manhattan District Court on Tuesday afternoon.
“Today’s unprecedented indictment of former President Donald Trump marks a dark and disturbing day in American politics. President Trump has been hunted and harassed by the radical left wing media and progressive leftist politicians with the same bloodthirsty zeal of those that hunted the witches of Salem.
“This politically motivated indictment proves liberal Democrats will use any lever of power, even our court system to target political opponents.”
