BENTON – State Rep. Dave Severin (R-Benton) recently joined Will Stephens on WXAN Radio for an interview to detail his summer reading program. Rep. Severin is the House Republicans’ Literacy Improves Future Endeavors working group that is dedicated to improving literacy and encouraging life long learning through reading for education and enjoyment.
This year’s summer readers will be rewarded with 2 tickets to the July 20th Thrillville Thrillbillies baseball game at Mountain Dew Park in Marion, donuts from Krispy Kreme in Marion, and a free custard from Culver’s in Marion and Carbondale. The deadline to submit completed summer reading club forms is June 30th, 2023. More details will follow.
