BENTON – State Rep. Dave Severin is encouraging residents that are able to give donations to food pantries and food banks in the region to do so in honor of National Food Bank Day.
“Our local food banks do wonderful work to help feed hungry folks throughout the state of Illinois, but especially in Southern Illinois,” Severin said. “On this National Food Bank Day, I’m encouraging anyone that is able to make a donation that will no doubt be used to help struggling individuals and families in need.”
