Mt. Vernon – On Wednesday, Rep. Severin and Senator Bryant delivered a processed hog to the Angels on Assignment food pantry in Mt. Vernon. Severin says he and Bryant have previously honored the great work being done by Angels on Assignment.
“This is an extraordinary charity and Christian ministry doing wonderful things for the people of Jefferson County,” Severin said. “From the clothing store to the food pantry, Angels on Assignment is stepping up to help the people of southern Illinois in their time of need. The least we can do is help them in their efforts.”
