BENTON – State Rep. Dave Severin and Senator Terri Bryant are inviting their constituents to attend stops on their “Small Town Tour” happening throughout the 58th Senate District and the 116th Representative District.
“I want to invite you to the upcoming ‘Small-Town Tour’ events that will take August 21 through August 24 in eight communities, including McLeansboro, Benton, Albion, Mount Carmel, Carmi, Fairfield, Murphysboro, and Mt. Vernon,” Severin said. “Whether you can make it in the morning or the evening, I am looking forward to enjoying conversations with my constituents to get to know them better and to provide one-on-one opportunities to assist them with any issues they may be having.”
The ‘Small Town Tour’ events are designed to be informal forums where attendees will have the opportunity to speak with their elected officials one-on-one about topics important to them. These governmental events are open to the public and will give constituents a chance to stop in, grab some light refreshments, and have a conversation with their elected officials about state government.
